Greetings, Hypnosis Fans!

If you’re like me, there’s something appealing about the idea of elegantly hacking into someone else’s mind and adjusting their memories, their ability to remember something, or causing them to forget something for a while.

If you’re like the people I play with, the idea of me having that kind of control over your conscious self is exciting, because you never quite know what I might do. Are you a new character? Do you remember your name? Have you checked your email and noticed that you sent a photo to yourself you don’t remember sending, let alone taking the photo?  What else is possible with these tools?!

Hypnotic Amnesia delves into several techniques which can induce hypnotic amnesia, including discussions on the science or art of the technique when available, as well as transcripts and notes from hypnotist (generally pre-session) and subject (generally post).

This book is a starting point. The 36 or so different techniques we specifically bring to life for you may be classic or old school to you, but there’s probably a few you’ve never heard of or thought of before, and there are likely some you love and use often which aren’t in this book. While the survey touches on some of your favourite ideas, we’ve opened this forum so that you can share techniques, articles, stories, and ask questions. I can’t guarantee we’ll be able to answer them all, but with the wide variety of knowledge and application available, perhaps someone will.

So there’s a forum – why do I want to buy the book? Because the book goes into detail about each technique, and includes scripts, discussions, and more, and helps to support this website and the education and further conversations about amnesia.

So there’s a book – why do I want to join the forum? Because the forum continues and expands upon the  book, and allows us to build a community of other hypnotic amnesia fans, to discover, create and learn new techniques, and perhaps to find a partner to practice these things with.

Here’s the link to the survey (Anonymous, and responses included in the book):
